“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, not yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11 KJV

I was driving this morning and when I stopped and turned off the engine, 9:11 came on my navigation systems screen. It always displays the time, but, this morning the Lord was showing me something. So I looked up 9:11 and there it was….. Ecclesiastes 9:11.

In the King James Version (KJV) the title of Chapter 9 is, “The World’s Wrong Standard Of Values.” Humm, ya think the Lord might be telling us something??

As I began a conversation with Him, the Ten Commandments, Obedience and God’s Sovereign Judgement are the reason for this post.

The Ten Commandments

1. Thou Shalt not have any other God’s before me

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee graven images

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy

5. Honor your father and mother

6. Thou shalt not kill

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery

8. Thou shalt not steal

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness

10. Thou shalt not covet

Those are the Ten Commandments, you can find them in Exodus 20:2-17, and Deuteronomy 5:6-17.

Moving on to the next part of this post…. Obedience. This is simply listening to and obeying.

When the Lord called me in 2010, I had no idea what was going on, what I DID know, was to be obedient. I learned that “this is a test, it’s only a test” that’s what it is. So I was obedient. The first test was about…. Obedience.

It started out easy, I thought, piece of cake, until….it wasn’t. It started out not hard at all. I then came to a point where I began to struggle. It was an internal struggle. See, I use to be an analytical thinker. My my, did the Lord ever change that. To be obedient in that time of testing, was a challenge. It stopped making sense. When it stopped making sense, I was in a place I had never been before. I could still understand and be obedient, but it didn’t make sense. So, thus the internal conflict. That lasted for awhile and then came peace and I overcame. We are to be Over Comers you know. Stay in it until you Over Come it!!

God’s Sovereign Judgement

God is the Creator of all. In the Gospel of John, it tells us this,

“All things were made by him: and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:3 KJV

So the Earth is the LORD’S and everything thereof. His Sovereign Judgement is made on it because it’s His and He made it.

At the beginning of this post, I mentioned Chapter 9’s title, that morals and values are wrong. To give an example of God’s Sovereign Judgement, one should read about The Flood in the days of Noah. In Noah’s day, God actually repented for even making man, and took one family of 8 and animals, put them on a huge boat and then flooded the entire earth because it was so corrupt and wicked. In Genesis 6 you will find it.

Today, in the United States, we have been having quite the weather here. It’s been very very extreme and it’s been Nation wide. Sweeping from one coast to the other.

God’s Sovereign Judgement has come upon America. Why? Why did God burn Sodom? You would think that man would learn. But man hasn’t. So the Sovereign Judgement of God is upon America. Floodings, Tornadoes, Destruction. America must Repent and Turn back to the Lord. Those responsible for breaking the Marriage Covenant and have perverted it will be held accountable. America must get back to the 10 Commandments.

America must Repent and Turn turn back to God.
