The Strait Gate

Thus saith the LORD,

“It’s time to get on the narrow road if you want to go through the strait gate”

In the Gospel of Luke, in chapter 13, Jesus is teaching his disciples about a strait gate. Now the word strait means a narrow passage. Here is what he tells them.

“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” Luke 13:24 KJV

O, so some may not be able to enter.

“When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are.” Luke 13:25 KJV

O my, folks, the plot thickens. Jesus will tell some he never knew them when He shuts the door to Salvation, and they knock on the door to get in, He’ll tell them he never knew them. Ouch!!! That would hurt…..really really bad.

So Jesus continues to tell his disciples about what happens to those who didn’t make it through the door of Salvation before it was closed.

All Ye Workers Of Iniquity

Iniquity is defined as immoral or grossly unfair behavior, and wickedness. At the time of this writing in the United States, there is a over-whelming amount of immorality and grossly unfair and wicked behavior going on from the current President and his administration and those who follow him. It’s completely outside of what America is.

In the Gospel of Luke, it is recorded that Jesus goes on to tell his disciples about those who are on the outside of the closed door to Salvation.

“Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are, depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.” Luke 13:26-27 KJV

Gnashing Of Teeth

Obviously being on the outside of Salvation is not a good thing. In the end, it’s weeping and gnashing of teeth and no more time. It’s the Great White Throne Judgement instead of the Bema seat getting your crowns and eternal life.

Jesus says it this way,

“There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Issac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourself thrust out.” Luke 13:28 KJV

Jesus will thrust them out. He’s not kidding either.

“And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.” Luke 13:29-30 KJV

Wow, that’s a pretty strong message from Jesus, himself. Hoping everyone is getting onto the narrow road so when they come to the strait gate, they can walk through. Don’t wait too long, for we truly do not know when it closes. That is the Word of God.
