The Promise
In Chapter 9 of The Book Of The Prophet Isaiah, verses 6 and 7 are the prophetic words given to Prophet Isaiah.

The fulfillment of prophecy is always exciting. In the Old Testament, in The Book Of The Prophet Isaiah, Isaiah prophecied the birth of Jesus. He prophecied this in the year B.C. 740. In my time with the Lord this morning, he took me back to the Old Testament so you could see that hundreds of years before he was ever born, a Judean Prophet, who lived in Jeruselam was given these mighty powerful prophetic words of the coming birth of Jesus. Here we are, in 2022, celebrating that very birth.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will preform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV
How awesome is that. Jesus is called Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jesus is a Wonderful Counsellor. What does that mean? It means, the Word became flesh.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 KJV
Seek His Counseling by reading the Word. It became flesh you know, so seek His Counseling in The Word. I know for me, Holy Spirit will put His Word in bold type, in the spirit, when I’m searching for answers.
The Mighty God

Jesus as The mighty God. In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 9, Jesus shows His mighty power over diseases.
“While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hands upon her, and she shall live. And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, band touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. And the fame hereof went abroad into all the land.” Matthew 9:18-26 KJV
Jesus, The Mighty God!
The Everlasting Father

Have you ever wondered what God is like? Look at Jesus, and then you will know the Father.
“Philip saith unto him, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus said unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet had thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” John 14:8-11 KJV
The Prince Of Peace

And you just thought this was just about the birth of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus, his blood that he shed on that cross is powerful and brought peace, once and for all in earth and in heaven.
So the prophecy has been fulfilled that Prophet Isaiah prophecied back around 740 before Jesus was ever born.
So Incredible! So with that…..“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14 KJV
