In a conversation with The Lord, I asked what I was to write about today. It had been a few months now, for I have been working on my newest book soon to be released and He told me to write here.
Holy Spirit took me to Exodus 12, which tells of God telling the people to sacrifice a lamb and put it’s blood on the door posts and lentils of their houses.
The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron and gave them instructions for what we know today as, Passover.

The lamb. This wasn’t just any lamb, this was a special lamb.
“Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. Exodus 12: 5-7 KJV
The blood. I asked Jesus, “why the blood?”. Yes, I went there. Anything could have been picked but God chose the blood of a lamb. It is a central theme in the Word of God, and the Word became flesh. It all points to…… Jesus.
Jesus, The Lamb Of God
In the Book of John, there is a man named John the Baptist. He is a witness of things that Jesus did during his ministry. Both Jesus and John are living at the same time, and on this occasion Jesus was in the same place as John and this is what John prophesied about Jesus it is written in John 1:29, KJV,
“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”
Jesus In The Flesh
What the LORD wants you to know is that he actually was flesh and blood. For 33 years he was actually on this earth, as a man. And now is seated at the right hand of God.
“By which will we are sacrificed through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins, But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;” Hebrews 10: 10-12 KJV
