Jesus Is The Ram At Abraham’s Altar

Abraham Offers Isaac

In the Book of Genesis KJV is the story of Abraham offered Isaac to God. This was a test of all tests when it comes to Faith. In the above scripture, Abraham knew that God would provide a lamb for the burnt offering. So, they both went.

This biblical account of what God had called Abraham to do is truly a test of ones faith. The Lord does not tell people to kill their children as a sacrifice to him. However, Baal does, the pagans sacrifice their children to him, but that is a post for another day.

Genesis 22:1 scriptures say…..

And it came to pass after these things, God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.”

Genesis 22:2 tells about the offering of Isaac by Abraham.

“And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get there into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell there of.” Genesis 22:2

The land of Moriah was known back then to have been a big mountain range. So Abraham, in obedience, rose up and took two of his men and his son Isaac to the land of Moriah.

Genesis 22:3 says,

And Abraham rose up early in the morning, saddled his ass, and took two of his men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went into the place of which God had told him.”

The scriptures go on to tell of  their arrival at the place where God had sent him.

Today, that mountain range and the place where Abraham went and took those with him, is know as The Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Genesis 22:9-10, tells of what happened when they got to the place.

“And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.”

The angel went on to tell Abraham in Genesis 22:12,

“And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou dearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.”

“And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.” Genesis:22:13

The Place Has A Name

Abraham did indeed give this place a name. Genesis 22:14,

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-Jirah: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.”

The name Abraham gave that place means “The Lord will provide.” And as I mentioned, the place is The Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The actual place is where the Ark of the Covenant was placed in Solomon’s Temple, and is now occupied by The Dome of the Rock.

In 2017, Lord had given me a vision about this very place. I was to write out the vision and release it into an Ebook

The Ebook, “Dome Lightning: Plucking Out The Enemy” is a Prophecy about the Dome of the Rock. The actual foundation stone is there, the very place where Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice and where the Ark of the Covenant was put when Solomon’s Temple was there.

Here is an Excerpt….

When Abraham was obedient to God by traveling to the land of where Mount Moriah was, he established the foundation stone for which the Ark of the Covenant was placed. In his obedience, this foundation stone would later become Jesus Christ, for it is written in the New Testament Book of Ephesians 2:19-22″
