There have always been two seasons in Israel. In the days of Abraham, to the modern days of today, Israel’s seasons are Summer and Winter.
Israel’s summers are warm but can get very hot depending on where you are. The Winters are usually rainy and cold.
Harvest times are very different and so are the crops that are grown. If one has read the Bible then hopefully you have a little understanding of the seasons, crops and harvesting that are centered around Jewish Feasts.
Israel’s Spring Harvest Feasts

Feast Of Unleavened Bread
In the Torah, Leviticus 23:11-13, God gives the people instructions on what they are to do. The scripture says,
“Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I gave you, you shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it”
As you might see in the scripture above, it ushers in the next Feast which is called First Fruits.
This is also the time when Jesus was crucified on the Cross at Golgotha. As the scripture says, the sheaf was waved the day after the sabbath. The Jewish sabbath is what we call today Saturday. Jesus was resurrected the day after the Jewish sabbath and became first fruits of the dead.

Shavuot, Feast Of Weeks

Shavuot And Pentecost
This feast is a counting of days, or weeks to the day of Pentecost. It’s about giving to the Lord the first of the harvest and he will bless all of the crop.
The Gift Of Holy Spirit
The Bible tells a lot about the one hundred and twenty in the upper room. As he promised, Jesus sent the Comforter, Holy Spirit, and the rest is history.
So What Happens Next?
In order to understand this great out pouring of Gods Spirit on All flesh, you have to understand how the Jewish Feasts are a key to all of this.
That’s what’s next. The latter rain, rains down.
Joel prophesied Joel 2:28 many centuries ago. It’s coming and so is Jesus. Amen. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus”
